Mexico Foodie Tours runs private tours across Yucatán — from the ancient ruins of Uxmal to a hands-on cooking experience in a Maya village near Valladolid.
Every tour is private for your group. As a socially responsible tour operator, we work directly with local Maya cooks and artisans, so every private tour also supports the communities that keep Yucatecan culinary heritage alive.
Both Yucatán tours are private for your group and run as half-day experiences — 3 to 6 hours. The Uxmal and Santa Elena tour is based in the Mérida–Uxmal area; the Maya village experience departs from Valladolid.
What’s included in terms of guide, transport and entrance fees varies by tour, so check each tour’s page for the full breakdown before booking.
Private tours work well for families traveling with kids, couples looking for a quieter pace, small groups of friends, and travelers who want a slower, more personal way to experience Maya culture.
If you’re planning something for a team or a client event instead, take a look at our corporate culinary experiences, designed for team-building, client events and incentive trips.
Mexico Foodie Tours is a socially responsible operator. We work with Maya cooks, farmers and artisans in Yucatán’s villages, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. A share of every private tour supports the families who keep Yucatecan heritage alive.
We also created the Círculos de Sabor program — every booking supports their work and helps keep Mexican culinary heritage alive.
